Operation Burning Light

Operation Bring Light an outdoor evangelism ministry of the Huber Memorial Church. Pastor P.M. Smith belief in the Great Commission ( Matthew 28:19-20) has motivated him to establish this ministry to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the world. The purpose of this ministry is to reach those who are hurting in our community who are being overrun by drug dealers, addiction, hopelessness and despair. Together we are working to "recreate the community" through sharing the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by meeting people where they are and witnessing to them by taking them prayerfully to where they need to be, to receive the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

Starting in August of 2012 Pastor P.M. Smith and The Burning Light Ministry partnered with Pastor Alex O. Stone and the Olivet Baptist Church membership to share the gospel each Tuesday evening in our neighborhood. Microphones and speakers are set up outside our church to preach the Word of God.

Operation Burning Light is Held every Tuesday during the month of August from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. During this time members of both Huber Memorial Church and Olivet Baptist Church shared the gospel with our neighbors in West Baltimore.
